Father where are you
Crowned with splendour
Blessed with intelligence
Adorned with brains
Sprinkled with love
But denied a father
Father where are you

I profaned iniquity
Coveted my friends
With daddy chit chat
I swilled my bitterness
Resented my hostility
Father where are you

Mama befitted multidimensional
I yearned for a talk
Longed for a hug
A little hand cuddling
Dusk came without you
Father where are you

You demeaned my stature
Flawed mama magnificence
She kipped with tears
Roused up with a beam
To see me ascend
Father where are you

Father where are you
Father where did you go
We have forgotten your face
Only carry your genes
Father where are you?
