It may sound like an error

To write a letter in this era

Dear mum I write

It has been long since I shade the light

On the things that I’ve been up to

My time haven’t been apt

It hasn’t been easy

When I keep feeling dizzy

With a ton of metal in hands

Crawling with my stomach knees hurts

How I miss the lettuce soup on the dining table

Its aroma would make me stable

How I miss the evening Sundays

And your morning hums on Mondays

As you prepared the breakfast

And serve me to eat till I burst

I am coming home soon

Immediately after the new moon

Am putting off my combat fatigues

To come and nurse my fatigues

Dear mum I write

To you I shade some light
